Albena - Coastal Black Sea resort - Sun, sand and luxury.
Only 32 km north from Bulgaria's sea capital Varna and 12 km. south from Balchik on a long sand beach (length 5 km and width 150 m). The history of Albena begins in 1968, become one of the most modern holiday micro-cities on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Exist a theory that the name of the complex comes from a novel with the same name, written by Yordan Yovkov. Another theory supposed that the name comes from the Latin word albus, meaning white.

He spreads out on 183 ha longoz forest, starting from the main road Kranevo-Albena, continues behind the hotels in the resort and reaches the open waters of the Black sea. The average age of the forests is 60 years. There are 28 types of plants that are protected by law and many kinds of fish, birds and mammals.
